Why is in home veterinary care right for you?
There are many advantages of choosing a housecall vet:
- Convenience
- Personal, individual attention
- Less stress on your pet (especially cats!)
- In-home euthanasias are more calm and peaceful
- Families with multiple pets pay only one housecall fee and don't have to organize transportation for all of the pets.
- There is no exposure to other animals, thereby avoiding exposure to contagious diseases.
- There is no worry about car-sick pets. Car rides tend to be stressful on older, more debilitated animals (such as those with kidney failure and arthritis). Most cats do not enjoy riding in the car.
Services we do not provide:
Please note that because we do not have a hospital facility we do NOT provide critical care, treat emergencies, or offer surgery or denistry. If your pet is seriously ill (hit by car, attacked by another animal, etc) it will need to be seen at a full service veterinary hospital or the emergency clinic (if it is after hours). We can do routine wellness exams, treat minor injuries and infections , provide hospice care, etc. Please click on the SERVICES tab to review the extensive list of services a house call vet can provide.
